Currently, Chris is privileged to be working with iconic Brazilian composer
(and friend and mentor) IVAN LINS, as part
of his European quartet. Watch this space for more info, and

Since graduating from the Guildhall School of Music And Drama,
Chris has recorded and performed with Paul McCartney,
Luciano Pavarotti, Carla Bley & Steve Swallow, Robert
Plant, Andy Sheppard, Bryn Terffyl, Randy Brecker, Nelson
Rangell, John Harle, Charlie Wood, Karl Jenkins, London Sinfonietta,
London Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra,
John Adams, Rambert Dance Company, as well as on
numerous film soundtracks, television and radio broadcasts.
As
a composer, Chris's music has been used all over the world
by broadcasters (BBC TV, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5,
Sky, SkySports, National Geographic, History Channel and others),
in shows such as CSI, True Hollywood Stories,
America's Most Wanted, Late Show and countless others.
He has written production music for Universal, BMG, Boosey
& Hawkes, Bucks, Abaco, Inspired and Made Up Music.
Chris’s debut solo album "Pra Sempre"
was recorded in Brazil and the US, and featured guest
appearances by Ivan Lins, Coro do Batacotô,
Mestres da Bateria da Mangueira, Téo Lima, Sizão
Machado. His new international quartet, AZUL,
includes two of Brazil's finest musicians, Walmir
Gil and guitarist Webster Santos,
plus Memphis Hammond ace Charlie Wood. He
also recently worked with Guinga, Marcos Valle, João
Donato and Wanda Sa. Additionally he has written and produced
albums for Moophonix with accordionist Toninho Ferragutti
and Swami Jr. (LITORAL NORTE), Walmir Gil (PASSAPORTE)
He has also established MOOPHONIX RECORDS
to provide direct online licensing of the label’s catalogue
for film, television and advertising applications, alongside
his own “SOUND DESIGNS” collection.
2011 will see the release of a new solo album, a follow up AZUL cd,
plus a brand new project written and produced for WALMIR GIL...

NEWS: In 2008 one of the Chris's GROOVE tracks was
used as the basis of the soundtrack (produced by YB São
Paulo) for a major international advertising campaign by the
agency W/Brasil for GRENDENE,
featuring Brazilian supermodel GISELE BÜNDCHEN
